When using the high-frequency induction heating method for metal welding, the use of a magnetic bar can greatly increase the induced electromotive force in the welded pipe and increase the welding power. The placement of the magnetic bar makes the magnetic flux in the induction coil concentrated in the magnetic bar. The magnetic flux between the coil and the welded pipe is relatively reduced, thereby improving the welding efficiency. Therefore, during high-frequency welding, the performance of the magnetic bar greatly affects the welding efficiency, quality and stability of the welded pipe, and at the same time affects the energy consumption of the steel pipe welding.

Technological Process

When placing the impedance (magnetic rod), the outline of the magnetic rod inside the impedance should be used as the placement standard. In the axial direction of the welded pipe, the front of the magnet bar must be aligned with both ends of the center line of the squeeze roller. If the front end of the magnet bar is located behind the center line of the squeeze roller, the high efficiency of induction welding will be reduced. The length of the magnetic bar should not be less than the distance from the center line of the squeeze roller to the rear end of the induction electromagnetic coil.

 

In the vertical direction of the cross section of the welded pipe, the impedance (magnetic rod) close to the fusion surface of the welded pipe can improve the high efficiency of induction welding. The cross-sectional area of the magnetic rod inside the resistor can meet the production and manufacturing requirements if it is more than 50% of the inner wall section of the welded pipe. The magnetic rod group is optimized into a hollow structure, which has less influence on the efficiency of induction welding.
