How to overcome the springback of the used welded pipe machine:

(1) Appropriately increase the deformation of the forming roll

When designing the forming rolls of certain materials with large springback or large-size welded pipes, the factor of large springback needs to be considered, and the deformation of each forming roll should be increased appropriately, so that the shape of the tube blank can be made after springback. Achieve the required shape. Especially for the edge part of the metal band, this method is helpful to prevent the production of peach-shaped tubes.

(2) Using thermoforming method

Since the yield strength and elastic modulus of metal materials will decrease with the increase of temperature, the use of thermoforming method can reduce the amount of springback during molding.

(3) Adopt asymmetric molding method

The asymmetric forming method refers to the use of two sets of asymmetric forming rolls before the squeeze roll, so that the tube blank produces two asymmetric deformations before entering the squeeze roll. As long as the design of the asymmetric roller is reasonable, the tube blank can keep the two edges in close contact within a certain distance under the action of the two sets of squeezing rollers to meet the welding requirements.
