In the process of making pipes with used welded pipe equipment, when the edge of the pipe blank is heated from normal temperature to the welding temperature, the volume of the base metal expands rapidly, and a metal vapor with a certain pressure is generated inside. The pressure of the metal vapor will increase greatly, and then break through the barrier of the molten metal liquid and spray metal sparks outward. The operator can judge and understand the real-time welding temperature through the metal spark spraying state. But this observation is constrained by empirical science.

(3) Internal and external burr observation

Through the observation of internal and external burrs, the state of welding heat can be judged. If the outer burr is bifurcated, or there is a groove in the middle of the inner burr, it indicates that the welding temperature is insufficient; It is hilly and the inner burr is basically neat and linear, which means that the welding temperature is suitable. This judgment method is based on the premise of the pressing force.
