  • Weld Seam Consistency: Visually inspect the internal and external weld bead. It should be uniform and smoothly blended.

  • Cut Quality: Check the squareness and finish of the cut ends.

Armed with this detailed technical assessment, a buyer can make an informed decision and develop a pragmatic reconditioning plan. This plan prioritizes the refurbishment or replacement of components identified as high-risk during the inspection, transforming the purchase from a gamble into a managed engineering project with a clear path to restoring reliable, quality-focused production.
