7. After trimming the tail of the last coil, send it into the welding area together with the head of the new strip, adjust the welding parameters (including welding current, arc voltage, carbon dioxide flow), and weld the strip.

 

8. After gas shielded welding, the belt mouth shall be flat, free of slag, strong and firm, and the remaining height of the weld shall not exceed 1mm.

9. After welding the joint, lift up the pressing device, and then start the feed pinch roller motor to flush the connected steel belt into the horizontal spiral looper.
